I have been tested on several devices and emulator. It all works fine. There is an article mentioned getLastKnownLocation does not work on Samsung Galaxy S3 4.0.4, the problem went away when upgraded to 4.1. I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab II 7" tablet as my android test platform. It's running Android v4.0.4 Maybe it's an S3 thing. I have no issues with the Location Map on my unit. In fact the 'only' thing I've had a problem with was the quiz, and that turned out to be me trying to do something wrong with it. Glad the new OS works, though. The problem is lot of folks out there don't even bother to upgrade the firmware. Also S3 is one of the best selling smartphones. I'm afraid it can cost lot of problems for all of us.
