The worst part of living in Alaska is missing out on all of the meetups - This one caught my attention because I might actually be visiting my Grandpa in Richland, Missouri in a couple of months...unfortunately I think that's quite a ways away from your area

I like the ST Louis idea, I've got a place to stay there and can catch a $26 Amtrak to/from Chicago. 5hrs to sleep or watch backlog of webinars... Have a couple of Friends in MN too, so either state works for me.

@LA - Yes, I'm out here... sorry for the delay in responding. As Susan mentioned, I have been planning on putting together a St. Louis meetup; originally, I was shooting for February, but that doesn't seem practical at this date. The plan was a Friday - Saturday - Sunday gathering with David traveling in to participate. That's still the idea, but weather concerns and giving people enough time to plan ahead for the trip have pushed things out a bit. I think April becomes more logical for a formal event of this kind. Tony (Magic_Man) is a key part of this plan; we've had a tough time making connections to work out the details simply because of our busy schedules.

@Warren Evans, I hope I didn't jump in on a meet up that I wasn't supposed too. I think April or May is good. You know how weather is here, it can change on a dime. We need to pick a date and just stick to it. LA

@LA - No problem on "jumping in" :). I have kind of loosely put together a framework for meetups for 2013. With the webinar stuff demanding my locus lately, I haven't rolled the meetup plan out yet. There are several of us around STL that could and should get together, regardless of a "formal" event. If you'd like to do that, pick when and where you'd like to get together, and I will head that way (Sundays and Wednesdays are best for me).
