Facebook Socialize IOS Integration

I'm at this step trying to integrate FB into Socialize in my app. What does this mean? And lastly, you must be sure to call [Socialize handleOpenURL:url] from your UIApplicationDelegate’s application:openURL:sourceApplication: method. Socialize will take care of handing off the openURL request to the underlying Facebook iOS SDK. This completes the authentication flow. Thanks, B

paste this somewhere in your delegate.m (make sure you aren't pasting it inside of another method) - (BOOL)application:(UIApplication *)application openURL:(NSURL *)url sourceApplication:(NSString *)sourceApplication annotation:(id)annotation { return [Socialize handleOpenURL:url]; }

It's pretty cool once the code actually starts making sense. Setting up Twitter with socialize is way easier than Facebook - you got most of the hard stuff done already To answer your second question - yes there is a way to do exactly that. I posted a thread about it here - http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=DFA16E2C13120840F4ED6CC&command=isSearching&currentPage=1&topicTitle=social%20image&createdBy=&repliedBy=&minViews=-1&maxViews=-1&minReplies=-1&maxReplies=-1&forumCategory= - I have only used this method with galleries created on Flickr.com so I'm not sure how it will work out with other hosting methods - I'm assuming it will work fine either way

Did you make a gallery on Flickr.com, then use the Custom URL screen? Or use the Macimage gallery plugin? I don't have a BT_screen_images.m file. I self host.

I used to use screen_images.m for 1.5 apps - now for 2.0 I am using the Macimage gallery plugin and it works just as well if you want an idea of what it looks like, here is an app that I just updated to 2.0 - it's using the Macimage gallery plugin with the socialize action bar...every image in the gallery can be shared via Facebook, Twitter, Email, or SMS - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/fan-club-one-direction-edition/id517597110?mt=8&uo=4

I'm not seeing the pics I shared in my FB timeline (I refreshed too)? I got a 500 Internal Server Error when clicking on the first link in twitter (http://farm9.static.flickr.com/8354/8330679648_781) The socialize link worked. This might seem like a lame question but what is the point of sharing things on the socialize web site?

Ok yeah, I forgot to mention that - Twitter has some weird issues with linking to the images, but as you can see, right next to the image link is the socialize link the takes you to the smartdownloads page where the image is viewable - Also, I just tested the facebook sharing and it appeared instantly in my timeline so I'm not sure what went wrong on your end It's not like your really sharing the image on Socialize - Socialize creates a personalized page based around the entity you created - you can see a feed of recent activity inside of the app, there is a stream of screenshots from your app, a link for your app, a QR code for your app -- the whole point is to generate traffic towards your app Here is the page if you want to see it again - http://r.getsocialize.com/e/63405090/?&propagation_source=twitter&activity_type=like&activity_id=7505308&user_id=75869395&platform=iOS&sdk_version=2.5

Can you see in your socialize page about my posting on FB. I use a dummy Steve Wankler. I tried again and couldn't see the pic.

Yes I see that name on there - it shows a green + symbol next to the action which usually would mean the share was not done using Facebook - are you sure the Facebook is switched to "on" after you press the share button?
