My home screen is in the 'buttons' layout. Howvere when i check my Xcode app simulator, none of my screens appear. I can change the colour of the background but it doesnt help. I have put images for each of the screens and so i do not know why tey arent showing up. This is for a very important school project so any help will be much appreciated :) Thank you, Jamie.

If you're on a mac, one of the first things you'll have to do is 'drag' some extra folders into your project. There are 5 of them, and they're outlined on that 'installation.pdf' document that is also in the root directory of your project. Take a look at that and see if there are any steps you missed; that document has the scoop. Cheers! -- Smug

Hey @jplunkett, Yes just compare all folders in Xcode to your download package. If you did, does Logcat say anything? Maybe try to sync your config file and do a project clean. LA

I cleaned it and i ran it, yet the button layout of the main screen that i want is still not appearing. I started off with a simple home screen menu then changed to the button. HI @jplunkett, To answer your question: "Are th buttons not showing up because of the other screen being there?" If you create a menu (list or button) it will exist and you will see it regardless of other screens you created. What you need to do is make sure that you tell the app to show you this menu. You may create a page and not link it to anything in which case it won't show. Have you set up the page you want to see when you launch the app as the home page? This is done in the layout/tab section. Hope it helps, Farcat

This seemed to have helped :) however it wont show any of my app when i open it in xcode. It justs redirects me to a page with 4 threads and a lot of text and copyright information? what do i do now? thanks for all the help so far :) Jamie

and another thing is that whenever i open my application all isee is a black screen, the background is supposed to be green... i dont know what to do and the project is due in 1 week.

OK. I am fairly new here but I'll try to help you like others helped me when I started. I am sure that somebody will jump in if needed. First, does your school assignment include getting the app on the iTunes store? Right now the waiting time is about 8 days for review. If you only need to have the work on your phone you still need to be part of the Apple dev program: 99 dollars and it takes a while. Just checking if you know that. Can you please email me a screen shot of what you see in the simulator (with the code bit)? Hi Jamie, I have looked at the screen shots you sent me. The 5 folders are not where they are supposed to be. Go back to where you saved the source code you downloaded. Find the pdf document called "instructions.pdf" Follow carefully the instructions and check that in the end all the folders appear. Cheers, Farcat

i checked the intstructions, however it looks like they are in the correct place. They are under the file name which is how it is shown in the instructions.

I can't say where you dragged them but I can assure you that they are not where they should be. On your project when you click on the folder button (highlighted in red in my screenshot) you see: Bt_Plugins Bt_Config BT_Layout BT_Art BT_Core Frameworks Product. What you are missing are: BT_Docs BT_Images BT_Sound BT_Video You still have them, they are in your source package, just move them the same way you did with BT_Plugins. Read again the instructions, like @SmugWimp rightly said: that document has the scoop. Let me know how it goes.

Ok so i now have all of the folders that you listed above in the same place. Except now everytime i try to Build/Run my app, it says 'building 10432 resources to product' ???? what does this mean and how do i fix this? it takes forever and it never actually completes, just says 'Builed Failed'. Help please :) Thanks

Hi, If I were you I would start from scratch. Bin your project on your Mac so we can work on a new one. Download your source code, move the 5 folders to the correct place. Shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes. Once you are done try and run the simulator. Farcat

Hi @jplunkett, Your app lives on Buzztouch.com. The app cannot be deleted from your account, it can only be re-used. Since you are so early in the project it is safe to delete the project on your computer. Find where you saved your unzipped source code (the folder should be called "bonnininternationalschool-IOS-BTv2.0" or something similar). Delete that folder, it is OK, I have done it plenty of times. Now go back to Buzztouch.com, login and download source code again for IOS. Unzip and save the unzipped folder somewhere safe. Follow the instructions as per the document (drag the five folders). You are nearly there! :)

Just a note, most of your posts are doubled. That sometime happens when you have several windows of Buzztouch.com open on your browser.
