Is source code the same for each app?

It dawned on me today, and might sound like a daft question... Assuming that no backend changes are made, and with the exception of btconfig, are the sources that are downloaded the same for each app? Assumption: Each project has all the plugins. Assumption: No backend changes occurred. I was more thinking about adding back the Aurasma changes needed, and wondered if I can just use the same base code and add in the required resources from there. I realize the supporting files would differ like images etc, but are all the base files the same so I can create a skeleton to base from. Thanks for any insight. Graham.

If you're talking about the source download for the SAME app, then yes. If you're talking about the source download for a different app, then... The biggest difference is the app's name is programmed in the source code you download from buzztouch. When you click on the link to prepare the files for download, it bundles everything together, and uses the project's app name within the source code. So.... yes, you could have a master source code to start from, but you'd want to use a good text editor to find/replace the appropriate app name.

OK, so I'll have a dig through and see if I can locate where these occur and see if I can get creative. (I'm talking about different apps) Thank you.

They've been modified to work with your app. If you look through all the source files, you'll see your app name referenced throughout. If you mean v1 of 'test.app' versus v3 of 'test.app' then I'm not sure. But if you mean "Joes Burger App" as opposed to "Joes Sandwich App", although they may contain the same plug-ins, you can't mix and match. Hope this helps! Cheers! -- Smug (Thankfully Stobe stopped in to give a real answer while I was typing this! Since I can't remove it, I'll just leave it be)
