Delete unwanted App ID from provisioning profile?

Ok, now that I've got half an idea of what I'm doing, my provisioning profile has a few extra App ID's that I no longer want or need. Is there any way to delete them completely, or at least rename them so I won't be as confused when setting up my provisioning profiles? Cheers! -- Smug

Unfortunately, there is absolutely nothing you can do with the App ID once you've created it - you can't delete it and you can't rename it...it's pretty much there forever unless Apple implements a delete button

I remember reading on forum about this guy who wrote to Apple about deleting an Id. They asked for the reason then did it. I tried as well without luck. Worth a try though. Farcat

I guess I'll just start giving the 'friendly name' some kind of prefix. I suppose I should create some kind of 'app development log' document to keep track of all that as well... In any event, thanks for the responses; a part of me was afraid the 'delete' button would be staring me in the face somewhere... Cheers! -- Smug

Apple will not allow you to delete any App ID's that you create, however there's a plugin/extension for safari and chrome that can hide/unhide them and allow you to rename them: Safari: https://s3.amazonaws.com/app-id-sanity/app-id-sanity-1.6.safariextz Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/app-id-sanity/dleofkjfblmgcedmhdankbcmhonjndne - tM
