Great work!. My name is Feras and I work at Xtify, I'm really interested to hear your feedback and suggestion on Xtify Android SDK, so feel free to send an email to [email protected]. Keep the good work.

Agreed, these are some great tutorials. Really well documented. Love the Google API stuff here. Thanks for the handful of them you've kicked down lately. Maybe not using this stuff now, but when the time comes - having them in your back pocket is KEY. (and feel free to post some pics of Sedona on future ones if you do more, you live in a Beautiful, magical place. jealous.)

More tutorials to come... What I'm finding is that if one does not understand just 1 step in a tutorial it can throw the whole thing off and grind any progress to a halt. When I see this: "The Socialize SDK is delivered as a single JAR file, simply copy the socialize-x.x.x.jar file from the dist folder to the libs path of your Android project." I didn't know what the hell they were talking about, in fact I only understood after watching a video about the setup. I took a risk and created the libs file in my project, made a few mistakes until I finally figured out how to get the jar files in Eclipse. I didn't know whether adding the libs folder would screw up my whole BT project. Because the file structure and naming of the files appears different than other android or ios projects out there. I'm avoiding adding my maps to my android app because after 2 apps I still dread trying to get all the MD5, etc...into the app. There are tutorials but I still can't figure out how to find my .android file that I know is on my computer (I've seen it) or write the correct commands to get everything right. Basically, the problem is if I have a problem that isn't written about in the tutorial I can't go any further until I fix that problem to go to the next step. But where do I find the answers to my questions? I have to go to google, BT, youtube and other places to cobble together the answers. These tutorials need to be seen from the eyes of an absolute newby and since I'm barely out of that stage I can take note of where I get tripped up and put in the extra effort to make things clearer. As usual the support for these integrations could be better because each company assumes a minimum requirement, knowledge wise, of their end users. It's been my experience that many companies still don't know how to offer support that is useful to the uninitiated. I did tech support for 3 years I understand why and the complexity of the problem but my intuition tells me the sink or swim idea is alive and well at many of these companies. Since we are on Buzztouch I assume when creating a tutorial they should be extremely detailed! Enough so that any of us can implement these api's. What would be real nice is if there was some kind of ios and android projects created as part of the BT learning path that could address the basics of each platform with the intent of teaching where code gets pasted into which documents BT provides. I know how difficult this would be but while I'm struggling for days to figure something out an effective tutorial that teaches as I create a project that would integrate some api's or other common things done to BT projects would be great. This is not meant as a criticism, but I'm sort of asking if any of you think it's a good idea too. I hope I'm providing an antidote to some of what I've written about above. If it wasn't for the people who have helped me figure all this out these tutorials would not exist. Thank you again, Bruce
