BT 2.1.7 does not update

After downloading the latest package (2.1.7), I made a successful install over my existing 2.1.6 with the same database and credentials. Everything went ok and I had the final login screen which led me to my cp with my existing credentials.(I was not succesful with the default: [email protected]) When I checked the version : It was 2.1.6 and said I need to upgrade!.. Did I make a silly mistake somewhere? Thanks for any support.

Hmm... I can't say for sure. I did a fresh install of 2.1.7 (not an upgrade) and just checked it; it says 2.1.7, and all my stuff went relatively smoothly on install. It won't hurt to try another 'upgrade' to 2.1.6, maybe it missed overwriting a file somewhere? Good Luck! Cheers! -- Smug

Hmm... wish I could say, but I didn't do the upgrade; I did a fresh install, since mine was empty anyway. Good Luck on that! If it's not harming anything, I'm sure the experts will be waking up soon. Cheers! -- Smug

Hi Korkut, I do not have the answer at this time but will get back to you shortly with one. Just to be sure, you followed the How To correct? https://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/bt-server-installation.pdf Towards the bottom are the upgrade tips. It worked well when I upgraded last. We'll get it figured out:) Ian

Hi Ian, Thanks for your support. I could not still figure it out. There might be an issue with the server as well. Just one quick question: If I make a fresh install to the same directory on the server pointing the same database and move the old files directory to the new install, what do I lose? I have some apps just to be finalized and submitted very soon. Thanks,

Just a shot in the dark, but did you try deleting your browser cache and re-visiting your server? (Or checking from a different computer/browser)?

Thanks for your support. I will try that option, see if it works.
