Thanks again. My first question emerged as I was following David's tutorial. I tried making the same app "marina" while I was following along. When I hit the run simulator in Xcode the build failed with the alert "use of unideclared identifier 'NSURLIs excluded from backup key'. Any thoughts I what I did wrong or missed?

Hi @Bodhim, Welcome to buzztouch! I'm not sure I'd worry about building an app from scratch as some of the tutorials do. I'd jump into your control panel, piece together a test app, download the source, and compile! That's the best way to learn, in my opinion. And don't forget to check out the doc that Ian mentions, to make sure you have in place everything you need. You'll also want to update your Xcode to the latest if you can. You're pretty downlevel (current being 4.5). Lots of changes, and the new iOS6 SDK is pretty much required at this point. Let us know if you have any questions! Mark

Hi Ian, I have updated my xcode and have simply tried to recreate David's example. I am pretty sure I have duplicated his steps, but still get the build failed message. NSURLIsExcludedFromBackupKey. Any thoughts on how to get beyond this would help me to be able to identify my errors in the future. Thank you all at BT! This is frustrating, but I like challenges.

Hi Bodhim, Your project is running fine on my end. There must be a setting in Xcode that's wrong. What simulator are you running? iPhone 6.0 simulator?

I will be checking out the membership page soon. I have put the cart before the horse before and want to make sure that I can put my flag on top of this "Everest." I like metaphors.
