I did this by simply moving the entire folder and SQL database. Everything works great (I can login, modify apps, etc - and my Apps connect fine.) However, I have one issue: BuzzTouch gives me this error: The application's data directory on the file system does not exist? This application does not have a data directory on the file system? As mentioned above there will usually be permission issues, dependancies and so on that have to be considered. These things have an install process for a reason. The issue is the Application Install Physical Path Normally, you cannot edit the Application Install Physical Path. However, if you go to your SQL database using PhpMyAdmin, you can edit it under bt_confg table. I just edited it to the new path, and from there everything works great. Hope this helps someone who moved servers. I went from HostGator Shared Hosting to a Virtual Private Server. Not that hard to upgrade, but worth it due to having much more freedom. Thanks! They are, however, more difficult to manage, and a bit more expensive most of the time.
