I want to create an app for latinamerican spanish and american english. It seems that there are none out there. Could be a money making deal.

Hi from a fellow linguist (sort of). I teach English as a foreign language; let's stay in touch - if anything, misery loves company, doesn't it? :) It is a steep learning curve but it is also an exciting ride (on the Android learning rollercoaster currently). Do you have a specific project in mind? I am thinking of doing my first app as a multiple choice test on vocabulary.

Latin American Spanish first. Something based on Rosetta or Spanish in a month.

Sounds great, good luck! You can't add audio directly from Buzz - are you thinking of self-hosting or hand-coding to get that option?

Hello Noobie, Working on a language app myself (no, we're not building the same app, don't worry) ;) I think you have found a great niche market. Not only "good" great but also "enormous" great (sound better in Dutch). I'm not yet ready to elaborate on my app idea but we could follow each other's learning curve and progression, helping each other out, without really getting into the details of our apps. I can't help thinking someone with more app dev experience and some time on their hands could easily run away with my idea and publish before I do. Maybe that sounds paranoid, but I think my idea is too promising not to take every precaution. Anyways, best of luck with your app! I'll follow you all the way. Robin
