Socialize

After integrating Socialize, I found that when you are trying to share a particular screen via twitter, fb, email etc, the particular BT screen's nav bar text is stated but the 'besoci.al' links produced by Socialize don't link back to the particular screen you were trying to share but to the app home screen. Anybody else found a way to get Socialize's 'besoci.al' links to lead back to a screen other than home screen? Note: I integrated Socialize into multiple screens using @Trailman's great tutorial: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=2A6C02F4162593B20BC7366&command=isSearching&currentPage=1&topicTitle=Socialize&createdBy=&repliedBy=&minViews=-1&maxViews=-1&minReplies=-1&maxReplies=-1&forumCategory=

personally I love scringo! Integrates with buzztouch so much better with the same but better results. http://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/ScringoBT_PDF.pdf http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bENvJlt0eps

Interesting - I did prefer the look of the scringo platform - but what do you think about the arguments that socialize has the edge by having a larger in-built community and more traction?

Larger audience? Why would that matter if they are not specific to your app? I would think that you would want a community of people in your app that is targeted to your theme of the app. For me scringo was easier to implement inside to my app and communicate with my users. I used socialized when I first discovered "app making" with another company. Their partnership with that company also turned me off. Not worth it to me. I noticed more spam than anything. I guess you can call me a control freak.. Same reason why I turned to Buzztouch. I rather have a control on my own content than someone else control it.

I am investigating incorporating either Scringo or Socialize in one of my apps. I wonder if someone could correct me, but I understood that one of the biggest differences between the two is that when a user uses Socialize to communicate within the app that communication is automatically posted to that user's facebook wall. Although I understand posts made via Scringo can also be posted to the facebook wall it requires deliberate selection for that function by the user.

@Sheri - Yeah I haven't seen a centralized Socialize community and the idea is to tap into facebook twitter audience anyway. @Iaxia I don't know, but related thread here though doesn't answer your question: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=0CD420C414107FB829ABADE&currentPage=2
