Buzztouch Webinars for 2013

Hi All - Wanted to let you know that the Buzztouch Webinar series will be back for 2013 (and beyond). Beginning on January 8, you can expect Webinars on a regular basis, with a 60 minute session on Tuesdays and 90 minutes every Wednesday. Any variance from this schedule will be provided in advance. Registration will be required, and as always, these will be recorded and posted on my YouTube channel for your future reference. Please note that at least 1 of every 4 Webinars will be Questions and Answers with David Book. Keep an eye out after January 1 under "Meetups, Hang Outs, and Events" for the first month's schedule. I am always interested in your feedback - what subjects you're interested in, how we're doing so far, how we can improve the Webinar offering - so please feel free to contact me either by BT message or directly at [email protected]. Thanks as always - Warren Evans

Please record at high quality (720p) so that we can read the code on David's screen. The 480p quality is tolerable. Anything less makes me go wonky! :-) Thanks!

Excellent. The time David @ Warren put into these is beyond generous. I love that David stopped along his costal drive to conduct one from the car. Never too busy to teach. That's amazing. Remember: He seems to be reading the forums and looking for examples of cool stuff to teach - that should motivate you to post up questions - because you never know, you might get a full on lesson out of your question. Looking forward to part 2 of the SQL stuff. Pretty sure these are recorded in 720p. I pull them down from youtube using jdownloader and have the option of a 720 quality. Totally agree we need that resolution. I asked if David would post his cheat sheets too, those things are gold. Great methods with solid, working syntax. Must have stuff for sure.

Hi, all! Sorry if this is a dumb question (only registered yesterday, and my head is buzzing - no pun intended!): Are previous webinar recording available for viewing? Are we automatically subbed to forthcoming webinar notifications? Or where is the place to check? Thanks...

Hello Fun Projects! Welcome to BuzzTouch! Hahaha -- good one on your head is buzzing. :-) The YouTube channel is hosted by Warren Evans at this link. You will find the previous seminars in that channel. If you intend on reading the code on the screen, change the video quality to 720p for easier reading. http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsRTFb6OGuxePvOX3_bTukw/videos To monitor upcoming Webinars, there are three methods I use: 1. View the recent posts every evening at https://www.buzztouch.com/forum to keep a watch on discussions that are happening. 2. Subscribe to Warren Evans to get every new post he creates. His Webinar announcements will then automatically be sent to your email. Visit Warren's profile at https://www.buzztouch.com/Warren%20Evans Under his picture, click on the big orange "Follow" button. 3. To get links to past Webinars, visit the sub-forum on "Meetups, Hang Outs, and Events" at https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/forum.php?fid=7BD14758D219B687103E4E3

Thank you! Will watch, after I finish the Android Learning path. Just out of curiosity, where would be the right place to start a Looking for Study Buddies topic? Would that be acceptable?

@funprojects I started a few months ago, absolutely clueless, and got my first app on iTunes yesterday. Watch the videos, use the forums, and prepare to make (and learn from!) some mistakes. Let us know if you have any questions! Maggie
