AVD Error DDMS

Hello, I'm getting this message in my DDMS console: [2012-12-22 08:50:36 - ddms] Can't bind to local 8614 for debugger [2012-12-22 08:50:40 - ddms] Can't bind to local 8614 for debugger [2012-12-22 08:50:45 - ddms] Can't bind to local 8614 for debugger [2012-12-22 08:50:50 - ddms] Can't bind to local 8614 for debugger I'm running this as Android Application like always so I'm not doing anything different. I deleted my AVD and created a new one but still same message. Now I am getting this in Logcat: 12-21 22:25:51.254: D/AndroidRuntime(728): >>>>>>>>>>>>>> AndroidRuntime START <<<<<<<<<<<<<< 12-21 22:25:51.264: D/AndroidRuntime(728): CheckJNI is ON 12-21 22:25:51.505: D/AndroidRuntime(728): --- registering native functions --- 12-21 22:25:52.505: D/AndroidRuntime(728): Shutting down VM 12-21 22:25:52.505: D/dalvikvm(728): Debugger has detached; object registry had 1 entries 12-21 22:25:52.539: I/AndroidRuntime(728): NOTE: attach of thread 'Binder Thread #3' failed 12-21 22:25:53.185: D/AndroidRuntime(736): >>>>>>>>>>>>>> AndroidRuntime START <<<<<<<<<<<<<< 12-21 22:25:53.185: D/AndroidRuntime(736): CheckJNI is ON 12-21 22:25:53.415: D/AndroidRuntime(736): --- registering native functions --- 12-21 22:25:54.404: I/ActivityManager(71): Starting activity: Intent { act=android.intent.action.MAIN cat=[android.intent.category.LAUNCHER] flg=0x10000000 cmp=com.example.sent/.MainActivity } 12-21 22:25:54.485: D/AndroidRuntime(736): Shutting down VM 12-21 22:25:54.485: D/dalvikvm(736): Debugger has detached; object registry had 1 entries 12-21 22:25:54.565: I/AndroidRuntime(736): NOTE: attach of thread 'Binder Thread #3' failed 12-21 22:25:56.115: I/ActivityManager(71): Displayed activity com.example.sent/.MainActivity: 1647 ms (total 1647 ms) 12-21 22:26:05.305: D/dalvikvm(190): GC_EXPLICIT freed 365 objects / 16864 bytes in 138ms. Also getting this now in regular console: [2012-12-22 09:02:28 - BT_activity_root] ActivityManager: Error type 3 [2012-12-22 09:02:28 - BT_activity_root] ActivityManager: Error: Activity class {com.laapps/com.laapps.BT_activity_root} does not exist. I have googled everything and did what the results suggested but still nothing. Need some advice/assistance with this please. LA

This suggests that there's something wrong with your code: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8911776/androids-checkjni-how-to-turn-it-off-on-on-an-emulator-documentation-seems And, are you sure your BT_activity_root.java file is indeed there? Finally...when was the last time you did a Project...Clean? Mark

Hi @GoNorthwest, I do a project clean every time I download a package because of the map errors after I fix project properties. I did get it to run but still nothing on the debug error. LA

Well, if it's running as expected, and nothing unusual is happening in the app itself, I wouldn't worry about the debug stuff. If you want, send me the package and I'll see if I can repro here. Mark
