App idea - Awesome reminders

Hello! Okay, I'm quite new to these forums so I hope this post is not irritating any mods out here! So, here's my idea of an app. It's something around reminders, but trust me it's absolutely different from what the usual calendars allow you to do. I think the one thing I'd like to disclose openly is that the best part about this app is that you don't need to create a reminder, to be reminded. I think it's a fairly easy idea to execute. ( I know everybody says the same about their app, but trust me this is different :) ) I have a few developing and designing skills but the main problem is that my knowledge is limited. I'm glad to admit that. I'm wondering if any of you guys would like to collaborate (with equal rights) on this with me. I don't even know if it's possible to ask on this forum, but I'm going to try my luck :). I could discuss the complete idea and we could develop it together. Would love a genuine reply. Cheers, Karan

I'm open to start with either platforms. Maybe (I could be wrong) Android would be easier to start off with.

Well, I think that depends exactly what you wanting to do and how it functions. LA

There's nothing besides a reminder (slightly special) in the app. Android would be good to start off with.

I'm quite familiar with ios having been doing work on local notifications, which I guess would. The basis of your reminder.

@LA, a system triggered reminder, if that makes sense. @Kittsy Oh wow, how do we make the conversation a little 'less open'? I tried the send message, but it's disabled.

Oh crap, why is my post replicating itself multiple times? Is it because I have two tabs open with this particular discussion? Anyway, @LA would you be interested? Either way, can you tell me how to delete the other posts!

Hi Karan, Like LA said, Jump right in. Check out the BTU tutorials and the How To's Sections. This is a great How To on getting started https://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/Things_You_Need_Before_You_Start_Developing_Apps_v1.1.pdf Get comfy with the buzztouch platform (won't take you long) so you can see how far you can take your app then go from there. Lots of exciting things coming in buzztouch so the more you are familiar with the process the easier it will be for you to figure out what/who you will need help with. Happy Holidays, keep us posted:) ian

Yeah and I recommend trying out iOS first, you can set up a local notification pretty easily, it's about 5 or 10 lines of code.
