FYI: Appoxee + Audio Streamer Plugin don't play nice! Apple Mach-o-Link Error

Hi All, Just thought I would share an experience that may save some others some valuable time. I've implemented Appoxee in a previous app with no dramas but today I've spent many hours trying to implement it in a new app with zero success! I kept getting "Apple Mach-o-Link" errors. And I remember reading that @David said these are almost always related to libraries. Anyway, after re-downloading, comparing the libraries of both projects, making a million config changes so I didn't now where I am ... I eventually worked out that there seems to be a conflict with the Audio Streamer Plugin and the Appoxee libraries. It may have to do with how they both play sounds using various libraries. I did note that PSMDanny thanked David for the framework magic in the read me! So perhaps there's something in that? So to fix it, I just removed the reference to the Audio Streamer plugin and it all works again! Bingo :)))) I'd like to use both Appoxee and the Audio Streamer plugin in a project one day but I'm just happy that it's working for now! Hope this helps someone else cheers PS I'll add this to the discussion board on the audio streamers plugin page.

Hi ictguy, Thanks for pointing this out!! Haven't got the time to have a look at it but will do at a later moment. FYI: You better not try to get in touch with a developer through the discussion link. The developer will not be notified when a new message is posted in the discussion. So it's possible he/she never reads it!. Best Regards, Danny

Just ran into this same issue as well- Removing the BTA plug-in fixed it for me too. curious to analyze this more. It's gotta be the audiotoolbox framework. That's the only one Apoxee brings in besides that libxml2.

Hi All, Thanks again for pointing this out. Note from the developer view: I think this issue is something we cannot avoid. Since there are so many thing we could add to our app it's likely that there comes a moment that you can include something duplicate. When you are adding external resources to your app and your app already uses a framework that is also used by the new resource, we can get this type of error. It's either deleting the framework from the resource or deleting from the buzztouch project. We have to include the needed frameworks that are neccessary for the plugin so it will work for users that don't use any other external resources. But as said: good to know!!! Best Regards, Danny

@psmDanny , Totally agree - plugins are the priority and its up to each developer to decide what else to add in. I just wanted to share my experience so it may save some others some time and frustration in the future. Cheers Darrel
