is it possible to count clicks?

I would like to add a menu list item or top nav bar link to another website. Is it possible to have some kind of counter to track how many times it gets clicked? Thanks

Ah, OK. That'll be that then. I know there are a few solutions out there like Mixpanel (don't believe they are free though) Neebur indeed!

Cool. Website most probably has analytics on it. Might be worthwhile having them provide a link url with id. Thanks again

How about you create a web page and host that. This page displays no content and redirects the user immediately to the site they want to go to. You can count the clicks to that.

that sounds like a plan. Could it be done by using a redirect in a dropbox doc? Any easy to follow guides you could recommend? Thanks bud!

I normally borrow other peoples code snippets, as I am better at knowing the art of the possible than the theory of how it is done! I think this link will show how to do the basic redirect http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5411538/how-to-redirect-from-html-page

Thanks. I can do the redirect bit. But never done the analytic part. Any guidance on this would be superb. Thanks again

I think with Flurry.com you can track an app at the screen level. I only track users and sessions so I am not sure. Mike

That looks cool. Might give it a try. Do you know if tracks screen views
