can't upload plugin

I'm confused on how to create a new plugin. I recently upgraded my account from free to "aspiring developer". I selected the "create custom plugin" button, filled out the standard info, and added the blank plugin to a temporary app. However, I don't see how to upload the plugin back to the control panel. When I select the plugin from the "Installed Plugins" menu option, I see the option to select "manage/update plugin". But when I select it, it shows: Market: NA, Private | Approval: Waiting for Upload Upload for Approval Disabled Remove from Control Panel Plugin Status Reference Is there something else I must do before I can upload my custom plugin back to the control panel to make it work?

Submitting new plugins is currently disabled per this forum post: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=ED16A39C8335FA9E84B5A8A If you have a Self-Hosted server, you can upload it there in the standard way, using the zip file you currently have for the new plugin. But nothing new is being accepted to the market until January. Mark

Ah - thanks Mark. I was thinking that meant we couldn't upload plugins to the market, not the control panel. Guess I'll have to wait until the new year to start looking at plugin development...

Hi Chris, You can still use a plugin you've designed in an app without adding it to the control panel provided you know the JSON for the screen. You should have the correct Java and Objective C files, and if you can generate the JSON and put it in your config file, you'll be OK! Also...if you have a self-hosted server, you should be able to add the zip file to your control panel there. Mark

Don't have a self-hosted server, but glad to know about doing it manually. Thanks!
