Not being able to run our app

Hi, we downloaded the Android package for the app and we are having trouble testing it on Eclipse. We tried following the instructions which say to create new Android project, and then create project from existing source, but these options are not available for the Eclipse versions we are running. We have tried the Java ADT version which came in the Android SDK bundle, and Eclipse SDK 4.2.1. The Java ADT version does have File, New and Android Application Project, while the other version does not. When going into the Android Application Project option, it asks for the application name like usual, but on clicking next it comes up with launcher icons and creating activity, which is not in the instructions that come with the project download from the Buzztouch site. Despite this, we completed the project setup and managed to open the app folder in these settings. We tried running the app in the emulator, but all the app ran was the text: "Hello world". We also tried doing File, New, and Project (not Android Project), and this allowed us to select the folder of the downloaded package of our app, but this came up with errors from the src folders, from both Eclipse versions. As a result, we cannot test our app in Eclipse. Help!

Thanks, those videos helped. We are just having one final issue, LogCat is coming up with an error while trying to run the app in an emulator: 12-16 08:35:28.517: E/PackageManager(60): Package com.lmmapp requires unavailable shared library com.google.android.maps; failing!

You're probably using an android api, not a google api. Right click your project > Properties > Android and tick google api level 8 or higher. Then do a Project (along the top of eclipse) > Clean.
