Automating Quiz

I'm trying to get to a point where when I update a spreadsheet of quiz questions and answers, the quiz in my BT 2.0 app is updated e.g. a question is added or an answer is corrected. I am trying to do this via the BT control panel so that changes update my live app on the app store. So far my efforts have failed. Preferably I want to host the spreadsheet in question on dropbox, buzztouch.com or google drive. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks

I use Dropbox to host my questions. Only difference is that I just use notepad or word-pad for my questions. The format I use is..... {"childItems":[ {"itemId":"Question ID goes here, can be any string of numbers/letters", "itemType":"BT_quizQuestionItem","questionText":"Question goes here?", "correctAnswerText":"correct answer goes here", "incorrectText1":"Incorrect answer goes here", "incorrectText2":"Incorrect answer goes here", "incorrectText3":"Incorrect answer goes here"}, {"itemId":"Question ID goes here, can be any string of numbers/letters", "itemType":"BT_quizQuestionItem","questionText":"Question goes here?", "correctAnswerText":"correct answer goes here", "incorrectText1":"Incorrect answer goes here", "incorrectText2":"Incorrect answer goes here", "incorrectText3":"Incorrect answer goes here"}]} make sure the ]} is at the end of the document as seen above and the {"childItems":[ is at the top as shown above as well. All I did really is copy/paste the BT config text after making a few questions in the control panal into a word pad and have it hosted via Dropbox :) Hope this helps

You can use the QuizMaker tool to convert your spreadsheet (in CSV format) into proper quiz data, which you can then host on dropbox, as noted above. The only thing you'd need to do is re-run the quizmaker each time you re-save your spreadsheet. Then as long as you save the new file over the old one it will work. (which should be saved in a public dropbox folder on your hard drive, which will then automatically sync to the cloud). For more info about the Quizmaker tool, see this site: http://idevdepot.com/quiz-maker-tool/ If you have any more questions, let me know.

Thanks for the suggestions - they were close to the mark. I'm still, however, looking for a solution that automatically updates the live quiz whenever the online spreadsheet is updated.
