Have studied Web design previously but now want to get into designing apps, and I think this is the right place to start it and learn about it. Hope to get to know some members on here, no doubt I will find all the answer and help I need. First off, I am writing this from an Acer laptop (Don't laugh) :L But I am in the market for an Apple laptop so I can design apps, my question is; if I purchased an Apple Macbook g4 as I know where I can get a couple of them that are within my budget would it be ok to design apps or would I need a more modern version. Your wee acer may be alright to run eclipse on but if you buy a Mac it has to be an Intel proc which the G4 doesn't have. You'll love it on here and your previous skills should help you well. Spend some time reading the excellent how-to's and get stuck into the BTU courses and you'll be up and running in no time. Happy Sunday and once again welcome! Comments Hi buddy!
