Strange issue with installing app on my own device

Hey all! Thought I was in the clear...think again. My new app runs great in simulators, no issues at all, but when I install on my own device the images in my MacImage Gallery won't show. They did in both simulators, but not on my iphone. Anyone have any advice for an eager to learn noob? Thanks BT community :)

Did you do a clean and build in Xcode? Did you update the config.txt data from your control panel into Xcode? This will often cure many ailments. It's all progress, keep smiling!

Thanks for the help! I did a clean and build, no issues in Xcode or with the simulators, just the images showing on my phone. Could you explain in a few more details how to update config.txt data from my control panel into Xcode? Thank you so, so much. I'm so eager for it to work, but it keeps teasing me! P.S. Your plugin is amazing and works perfectly for what I'm trying to submit to itunes :)

What MacApple means is you need to make sure that the config.txt in XCode matches the config.txt on the control panel. This can differ if you've downloaded the source code and then later made changes at buzztouch.com. To make sure they're the same, the easiest way is to go to your control panel on buzztouch, select your app, and select the "configuration data" option. Copy all of the configuration data that loads to your clipboard. Then go back to XCode, expand the "BT_Config" folder, and select the "bt_config.txt" file. Select all of the text that opens up, delete it, and paste in the configuration data from your control panel. Then build the app and check that it works. If not, it's something else that's going on. -Chris https://www.churchphoneapps.com

Dang, that still didn't work. Maybe it's my phone, and not my app? I don't know...

Have you looked at what Xcode is telling you when using the Image Gallery? With your device hooked up for debugging you should see the log give you info about each move you make in the app. Keep us posted. Looking forward to your creation!

Hmm, thanks for that idea. It says "BT_fileManager: File does not exist in cached directory: noImage.png." I'm so lost now, I copied all my images into BT_images once I downloaded my source code into Xcode. Any ideas? Thanks again! I guess this is still progress...

Look in the "BT_Images" folder in XCode - does that file show up?

silly question but gotta ask - did you try uninstalling the app from your device and then recompiling?

Agree with the above. Delete the app. Perform the whole update config.txt routine above, clean and build and you should be good. Don't worry, it has to be something silly that you'll kick yourself over.

Nice one, wasn't too tough was it? Congratulations for sticking it with it, a good nights sleep is worth its weight in gold.

It wasn't in hindsight, I guess I'm learning :) Thanks for all the help, I'd be lost without the veterans willing to help out a new guy!
