iPad Story book plugin question

@Stobe I love the plugin. My wife is a kindergarten teacher who has written multiple children's books and this is a great avenue for me to get them published without buying an ISBN number for $175. I have gotten the buttons placed, the transitions working properly, and the interactives working. However, when I turn the page it is automatically going to portrait even though I am holding the iPad in landscape. When I turn my iPad to portrait and then back to landscape the page orients properly. Any ideas where I might have an improper setting. I appreciate any help or suggestions.

Miguel, Thanks for the assistance. I did want prevent rotation in the book so this gave me the opportunity to dig into the code without searching where to do it. So thanks for that. The fix was actually an easy one: the page transition must be set to curl in the control panel. I appreciate your help.

Sorry I didn't see this post earlier.... But to add something to the answer, be sure to lock your rotation to lanscapeRight (if I'm remembering correctly). Since the page curl animation only knows how to work in a certain direction. (you'll see what I mean if you don't lock rotation, and use the curl transition in both landscape orientations. One will look backwards. Let me know if you need help with the code.

Thanks for the advice. I have another little issue now however, I am trying to put a pdf screen in with directions how to best use the book when reading to little kids. I have the pdf in the BT_Docs folder and everything is showing up okay in Config.txt, but when I tap the button I do not see the pdf. I see the background image for the menu page (which is the cover of the book). I also tried this with a word doc with the same results. Any thoughts?

are you re-compiling after you copy the new files into Xcode? (I know its a simple mistake, but I've made it several times)

Yes. I have recompiled and copy and pasted the config file from the control panel. Do you suppose it has something to do with the global settings overriding the settings for the pdf plugin?

I just noticed that the back button in the left side of the navigation bar does not appear as it does not on any of the iPad story book pages.

@Stobe, I am sorry, but man am I an idiot. In an effort to make the binary as small as possible, due to graphics and sounds in the package, I deleted all of the plugins I knew I wouldn't need. Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted the pdf plugin. Now that I dragged it into the project everything is working great. I am sorry to have bothered you and wasted your time.

no problem. And as for the back button on the nav bar, it was my intent to hide the navbar and use the "previous" button built into the plugin. It functions the same as a back button normally would (pushes the previous page)
