Debugging advice requested

Hi, I've got into all sorts of trouble with things. I'm trying to run an app and I get the error "Unfortunately, (application name) has stopped." on both my emulator and android device. This is for all my apps. I've spent a long time trying to sort this. I've reinstalled eclipse twice, spent hours installing AVDs and lots more. I've put the logcat file here - http://epeqe.com/log.txt - I'd be really grateful for any thoughts about how to resolve things. Many thanks, John

Have you put a hash before your colours? Like #B8C0F8 instead of just B8C0F8

Android shows you have an unknown color and it looks like that is causing ti to crash. Harder to read these things when they are not in color. lol Check the color settings for your menu list simple. You might find something there. :) Jim

Thank you, raveyd, Thank you, Jim. I am incredibly grateful that you took the time to help me. :) Yes, you were both right. I deleted all of the colours that I had put into MenuSimple and all is well again. The apps work on the emulator and my android device. Just in case it is of any interest to anyone else, I had not put any colours in with a # sign, but I had taken some colours from an html colour picker and inserted them into MenuSimple. They were obviously not recognised and caused a huge problem. Thanks again, raveyd and Jim. I owe you both big time. Wow, it's nice when things get solved. What a great community there is here at Buzztouch. Kind regards, John

Nice one John! Issue with the colour picker? The colour you had was a pale blue, right? There shouldn't have been a problem - if the picker just gave you the hex code - B8C0F8 - just add a hash to it - #B8C0F8 - it should be fine.

I've just tried and yes, the colours and the menu works when the colours are input correctly. Thanks again! John
