How to make Row Background Color opaque

I am using a simple menu. I would like to make the Row Background Color 50% opaque so that I can see the list background color behind the row. How do I manually do this? Thanks

From what I know you would have to dig into the code. I have never seen this put into place, but I like the idea. There may be a way to insert an image as a background within the UITableVeiwCell (iOS) Not sure how scaling would work. This might be a fun one to try...

Hi TJordan2011, I don't know the answer to your question. You probably have to dig in the code. As an alternative you could use The Design Menu from the plugin market. With this plugin you can give every row a background image. Make that image a png with 50% opacity and you get your desired result. Be sure to read the manual and download the example files on www.bt-addons.com Best Regards, Danny

Danny, your suggestion is valid. I found your plugin after my initial post. The only thing that is holding me back is that it is ios only. I'd like to stick with ios/android plugins. Do you have plans to bring the design menu to android? If so, whats your eta?

Crown Solutions, if you do end up working on this and find any solutions, opaque tables or images in the table, let me know. Thanks

Hi TJordan2011, Sorry to say that there are no intentions to work on an Android plugin. But keep in mind that most people make different apps for both platforms. It would be nice to have 1 control panel for both platforms but the reality is different..... Best Regards, Danny PS let me know if you have any questions regarding the plugin

I wil take a look, but the code will be different for each platform. You would either have to use a simple menu in the panel and then hack up the code in both xcode and eclipse, or use Danny's plugin for iOS and only have to deal with Android. This of course means another project, but the reality is the platforms are different enough, that if you start customizing the app much you have to have two projects anyway. Jim

I was unaware that people usually made different buzztouch apps for the same mobile app. That makes a lot of sense. I think I'll take another look at that plugin Danny.
