It's on the to do list I believe. Timescale? No idea. In the meantime Parse and Scringo have cross platform push that can be easily and quickly integrated and there was a post from @WaystidTime (sp) couple of days ago about setting it up yourself on your server.

As long as you bring it up- I'm wondering if we really want to tax BT with developing this? I know it been there for a while and not many posts come up.... There really are so many great 3rd party sources to handle these and they are full of great tutorials and support. The new interface at Parse is going to be really hard to duplicate and then making BT handle the management of p12 certificates.... Would people rather see BT develop new stuff instead of spending time on PN which we can access from a host of other places?

I'm inclined to agree with you. Heck of a load on the back end if even half of us used the service. Have been looking at setting up on my server myself but in meantime very happy with Parse. Hitting my limits now though and will have to upgrade. Oh well.

What I think would be really useful is to be able to set up a form so that people could send a push from a an html page (or even put that inside an app). Parse.com support the concept with their rest api, but I don't know how to do the form - just wondering if anyone done has achieved this?

I'd be interested in push notifications as well. Parse looks like a good solution - especially since they have a free option for people getting started! Has anyone used Parse with BT? How hard is it to integrate?

I use Parse buddy, love it. Use it twice a week for one app and do around 25 pushes over 90 mins without issue. Slick interface, mostly reliable and just darn fine.

Hi Chris1 I use Parse in my BT app: https://itunes.apple.com/app/pets-411/id530224018?mt=8 Pretty easy to implement too.

Thanks @MacApple and @Red Dog! Once I get some time I'll take a look at their docs - it has some great potential for what I'm trying to do!

@MacAple - that sounds like a good problem if you're hitting 5mil pushes a month! Nice work, you must have some active/engaging apps! @chris - Parse 100%. It's more than just PN - Check out the PFQuery and the LOGIN/SIGNUP views on these Tutorials. https://parse.com/docs/tutorials I've got a login/signup BT plug-in working that I might submit when the market re-opens. Nice way to track users and alow them to login via FB and Twitter to your app. The PFQuery has a lot of potential for some backend quick data store for apps. Parse is just full of all kinds of goodness and easy to work with. and PN from within the app? I looked at the sample project. good concept but nothing I needed to utilize yet. maybe down the road, but I kind of prefer forcing people to use the website to generate and send the PN's.

@ATRAIN53 I wish. Just commentary / notifications on my soccer team. My limit is a million a month though.

Hi @Atrain53, do you direct people to the parse.com website to generate their PN's or have you been able to set up your own form?
