I think i created a mess

I just got an app approved for the app store and i downloaded it and im having a problem with it. When i first made the app i had 5 tabs and decided i wasn't gonna use two, Twitter and home screen basic menu. So i deleted those in buzztouch and they kept showing up in xcode after i made a bunch of changes to the app like adding menus and pics so i just deleted the app files, changed the project name, re downloaded the source code and reloaded it into xcode. I ran it in the sim and after hitting the refresh my app showed up the way i wanted it and kept working fine every time i launched it so i submitted and downloaded it it still shows up looking like my test with the 5 tabs and when i refresh it works fine. Im so confused right now on how to fix it. Do i need to change something in xcode or on the buzztouch end?

Hi Ryan, This pretty much sounds like your configuration data file was not in sync when you submitted the app to the store. It's always a best practice to ensure that the information found at the Configuration Data link in your control panel, and what's in the BT_Config.txt file in your app, match at the time of publishing. That way you ensure your customers get the most up to date app possible. As it stands now, and as you've seen on your device, once you do a refresh, all is well. When a user installs and uses the app, they should be prompted for a refresh, and then they'll be good. You could also sync the config file and publish and update to the app. That way new users won't have an issue. Here's a video that shows how to sync the config files: Quick Clips : Sync Your Configuration Data File https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sp2vL1XCPC0 Hope this helps! It's kinda a weird position to be in, but in the end, your customers should be prompted for a refresh and they'll then have the latest version of the app. Mark

Hey Mark thank you for your continued support. I am now down to a few other issues. For whatever reason, the app does not automatically prompt users to refresh after a new download. It does allow you to manually refresh the app, but most users will not think to do that without a prompt. The simulator works fine, which i would think is why it passed Apple's inspection of the app. I did try to submit update 1.1 but get code sign errors for some reason. This is the following error: "Unable to extract codesigning entitlements from your application. Please make sure txmx3 is a valid Mach executable that's properly codesigned." What do you think may be going on here? Thanks again.
