Navigation Bar Issue

Hi guys. I created a blank screen as I needed a screen with just an image to display and return back to the other screens. I don't want the navigation bar to be shown on the screen, I want just the whole image. The problem is that with no nav bar it means that there is no back button to return to the other screens. Is there a way to make the nav bar hide when you touch the screen and re-appear once you touch it again (hopefully you understand), or is there any other option I could go through since you know what I require.

You can do anything you want, you have the code. I realize you're asking about how to do this with the control panel...but...you're removed the way to do it with the control panel by hiding the top nav. bar. The tap nav bar is the only way to "go back" without customizing something. You'll need to either customize the .m file of the blank plugin, or make your own. It's not hard to create to capture a swipe gesture. Capture the swipe, then fire the same method the built in logic does: This fires on the back button press: [BT_viewControllerManager handleLeftButton:screenData]; So, follow the details in the discussion below, then call that from your swipe method: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5718083/swipe-gesture-iphone

Thanks for the help. I'll try that one out, although I thought of a different method that I would like to share just incase as an alternative. I followed the guide on how to add a nav bar consisting of an image(It applies to the whole app). I used preview to create a completely transparent image and used that as my nav bar which now means that you can see right through the nav bar but you have still got the back button. I then customized the back button to consist of an image of e.g.. an arrow so it doesn't stand out too much. I hope you understand what I'm talking about. Incase you'd want a nav bar you could create a background image with a strip on top to act like a nav bar on any screen you like.... This might seem complicated to some people but it's pretty simple..
