If this is part of a published app, and the plugin was part of the package you compiled at the time (even if you didn't use it), then just back our your changes in the control panel. If it's a published app, but you just recently bought the plugin, then you need to recompile it to include the new plugin (and download new source). But, current users will see the JSON related screens, and get an error if they are connected to your configuration file.
