Load introduction/image screen when first opening the app

Hi there, I have noticed on some apps that when you first open them they have an introduction screen that loads for 1-2 seconds before the app starts. I do not know any code yet. Is there an option in the buzztouch control panel to add this? If so where is it and what dimensions in pixels should I use for the screen image? Thank you for your help. Jonathan

Hi @JonathonIML, They are using the "Splash Screen" plugin. When you create an app you can add this plugin to your app through screens then plugin. Any help, just post. LA

Great thanks, found the plugin. Do you know if there are set dimensions in pixels that you should use for the splash screen image?

No problem..glad to help. I believe the default of 1 is in there but not positive. Just play around with it and adjust to your liking. LA

From what I can find iPhone is 320x480px and iPad is 1024x748px I guess I use the small image option in the plugin for iPhone and the large image option for iPad? Thanks again

@Jonathan I personally would use the dimensions for the iphone 5. and in the control panel set it to top middle. This ensures that the background pic will fill both without stretch. Just makes usre all the information you wish to show remains in the dimensions of the smaller devices at the top of the image. This leaves a small border at the bottom of the iphone 5 device but at least it will match the pic . This is for iphone only obviously.
