Creating a screen with buttons in a irregular way.

Hi, I am trying to design my main page that has 8 buttons leading to different pages. However I would like to place the buttons in the way I want. i.e. not in grid. Is that possible?

Yes but you will either have to hack some code to do it programatically or use ios interface builder. (I'm not to hot on android. The interface builder is the best option, use this with a custom plugin screen. Create as many buttons as you like and link them to custom code to next screens.

Depending on the design you'd like to achieve may be possible using the "Menu Buttons" plugin, I'm not sure this idea would be helpful but worked for me: In some screens of the app I'm developing (my first...) I used this plugin like this: - I created a picture with the size of the screen; - then designed pictures of the buttons I needed to fit a grid of 4x5 in that big image; - sliced it into 20 files (4x5), some of them did not have a button picture, were only a part of overall picture; - in Menu Buttons plugin I used all buttons with no margin between them, no label and size 80, then the image of each button with the 20 images files I sliced; - some of the buttons have no function are just an image, I didn't find out yet how to block those buttons so by now I send to a screen with a picture with no relevant content. These are the screens I created, in the first and third all buttons have a function, but in the second one some of them don't: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/694/lokobeermobilemenu.png/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/145/lokobeermobile07tipos.png/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/10/lokobeermobile06copoide.png/

Thanks Guys for the suggestions. Alessandro, do you know with Menu Buttons plugin, can I create a fake button which is transparent, takes up a space, but doesn't do anything?

I dind't find out how to create a transparent button, any parameter on the plugin settings affects all of them.
