Don't have an Android Phone will this work? (GPS Coordinates prefilled in SMS text)

In theory I think it will work. The reality is, I wouldn't know until I got an embarrassing note or call from someone using it if it didn't. Bottom line: encapsulating the GPS Coordinates into an SMS Text message. I'm using the "Send SMS (Text)" plugin, with this as part of the message: "https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=[deviceLatitude],[deviceLongitude]" I would like it to appear as "https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=13.512345,144.812345" (dynamic coordinates, without the quotes, of course). What I 'want' to happen is for this link to appear in the SMS text message, with the Lat/Lng embedded in the link. A user taps on the link, and the map/browser pops up to show the location. Superfluous reasoning behind this is, it's an app for a Realtor. The rich "New Client" in town doesn't know where they are. The Client can easily SMS their unknown location to the Realtor so that the Realtor can either meet them, or provide directions from the client location to a destination. Oh snap. Now I want the Realtor to be able to send coordinates back to the client so the client can use the phones map navigation to direct them to the location. In any event, it boils down to pre-filling those coordinates. Any kind of Safety, Fire, Hiking or whatever app might use this train of thought in their apps... Thanks for any confirmations (positive or negative)! Cheers! -- Smug

Well, so far, phooey. I still don't have a phone, but they 'should' work about the same via Text or Email, and Email is just sending the [deviceLatitude] text instead of the value. I'll keep plugging away. If someone knows something I don't, I'd be happy to try it. Cheers! Alex
