Self Hosted Configuration data won't load

The configuration data won't appear for any of my apps through my self hosted server. I can obviously connect to the buzztouch server because I can download the source code, however the config data won't download. Only thing I see is "loading...." and I've had that site up for a half hour to see if it would eventually load. Is anyone else experiencing this or is there a way to fix this?

Can you pull the data from the config URL in a web browser? Have a look in the core properties on the control panel to get the URL and at least see if it can be loaded ... Hope this helps :)

Yup, like @ictguy says, hit the dataURL (in the Core Settings in your control panel and in an apps config.txt file) with a browser and see if it loads. This is the URL to your self hosted backend. If it loads there, but won't load when you use the "Show Configuration Data" screen in your control panel, something else is wrong. The Show Config Data option in the control panel uses cURL on your server to hit that URL, grab the results, then show them in the Text Area. cURl is generally very reliable and for sure needed for tons of things in your panel.
