From dipping a toe to....!

Hi all, I'm so nearly there. I'm just a tad unsure on the final steps. I am moving across to v2 and self hosting. I'm with godaddy and everything is set up fine, until the end! I think i've issues with the directory path where I have added the 'BT-server' Can anyone help with how I locate the directory path please? All very smooth until this! Thanks greatly.

If you have an FTP client that you used to upload the files, it should show the path somewhere in that app. Or, if you are using a control panel or something to upload the files, it should show you the path of the root directory you are in.

Hey Alex@TM You get it? Did you try this: Log in to your Account Manager. Click Web Hosting. Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Launch. In the Server Details section, click Show details. In the Absolute Hosting Path section, your hosting account's Absolute Hosting Path displays.

Here are my issues: I have added screenshots of where i'm at and what I need to try and find out. For some reason I cant work out the path directory for BT-server. Please find 2 attached images. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/63458265/btscreen.png http://dl.dropbox.com/u/63458265/btserver.tiff Any assistance on how to do this would be more than gratefully appreciated. All the best Alex

Yup. Thats exactly what mine looks like. Does 'database server' look right? The bit "like localhost" ? Cheers mate.

Did you get this all worked out? Generally, unless you know your database is hosted somewhere other than the same server your web server is on, you can just use localhost. Mark

Hi Mark, I have messaged you again. All credentials seem to be correct but it is still loading to the error code. Regards, Alex
