I am looking for volunteers to help with updating and translating the Localizable.strings file we use for compiling our projects. This project will help buzztouch reach the world. Phase 1: Start with the English version, anticipating what text we could use in the Localizable. strings files. Once we start translating, it will be harder to keep all versions in sync, so I plan to start work on the English version first. For this, I need plugin developers to help me in English. I think we can accomplish this task in one Google Hangout. Phase 2: Translate the Localizable.string files. If you speak a language other than English and would like to help, let me know. We need volunteers to translate, and also to proof the translations. Let me know if you have any feedback or advice on this project, and in particular I would like to know if you are willing to volunteer to help. Thank you! P.S. I am not sure off hand how localization works in Android, but Android is in scope for this.

Thank you, everyone! Great response to this. I will write up a project plan today and post a link on the forum. We really have the major western European languages wrapped up to a large degree, plus Hindi, Marathi and Hinglish from Sandeep. Except Scottish--@MacApple--I am afraid there isn't a localization code for it. :( It would be nice to get every language with an iOS/Android localization code into buzztouch, and eventually we will. So if there are more volunteers, let me know! Plus, we have a huge headstart on translations because of the contribution from @mysps!

I put together a temporary website so we could work on this. I would like to get this to a fairly complete state before we turn it over to David, so we can keep his time free for all of the other things we need him to work on. Hi, everyone! We are making a lot of progress. By separating out forum posts by language we will also have a place for discussing any errors or language improvements in that language. I will start with Spanish, and see how it goes.
