plugin suggestion

I have a suggestion for a plugin that would probably sell really well and I think would be pretty quick and easy to implement. What is it? A form builder. In one of my apps, I make use of html forms (using both local html docs via html doc plugin and hosted html docs via custom url plugin). The forms interface with a php file on the webserver to process the data. It works okay, but I've realized it would be much better and more efficient to make the forms native. I was actually able to do this fairly easily via Xcode Interface Builder (haven't explored Android yet). But I haven't gotten far enough along to translate that into making a plugin - I still have a ways to go in my iOS learning :) Anyway, I think it would be fairly easy to accomplish. The idea would be to place form elements in a table view using JSON childitems, with labels on one side and input elements on the other. A simple BT control panel setting could be used to determine whether the input element is a text box, a switch, or something else. Another setting could be used to set the form field name. Users would be responsible for writing and hosting their own php script of course. To get it to work via IB, I used the 3rd-party library called AFNetworking. It would be simple to include the necessary class files in the plugin. If anyone is interested in taking this on, I would be happy to share the code I've come up with so far. LA - I know Will is planning on starting work on this plugin soon for at least iOS - I don't know about Android. But I'd suggest PM'ing him to see what his plans are or if you could work with him on it. Obviously the best scenario would be for a single plugin that works with both Android and iOS.

LOVE AFNetworking. Great choice to build on. Still a big fan of HTML forms tho over native ios ones depending on the back-end. Talking to a web back end, I like having both platforms developed once using standard html. Sounds like a neat project tho, good luck!
