control panel view of app

I am making my second app but in the first I could see what I was doing as the app was changed. It had a little phone to the right with the app on it(simultor)In the control panel but now thats gone. how do i get that back?

Hi @prefamous, That was for v1.4 apps, and it's no longer available. You'll have to run it on a device, or in the appropriate emulator. Mark

You'll have to be significantly more descriptive than that for us to help you! How do you know it's not working? What part isn't working? Are you sure you have it configured correctly? Mark

It just hangs there, to be honest I am not sure if it is configured correctly!

I am getting that says no campabtble virtual device. I follow the instruction on that file and the properties are set on the project. what else could it be?

Try this: * Close Eclipse * Launch the AVD Manage via the .exe file in your Android install folders * Start the virtual device * Once the emulator is up and running, open Eclipse and run your app Mark

Have you rebooted your system lately? The Emulator is super, super slow, and sometimes have a host of free memory helps. Also...the new Android ADT package seems to have a slightly improved emulator. That might help. Mark
