Upcoming Plugin In Review List?

Hey David and Co., I was just curious if it would be possible to add a pending review or in review list posted to the plugin section to possibly see what's in the works or what is about to released to the market. The reason I ask is two fold. 1. I have an app that is just about ready to send to apple for review but don't want to miss the opportunity of possibly adding another great plugin to my app as soon as I send it in. 2. I have a feeling many people are thinking of the same plugin ideas and this would help avoid duplicates. Just a suggestion. Thoughts. AM

I personally think it may be a good idea to do this but I also see many cons to it as well. I'm sure there are many plugins that get rejected for several reasons which in turn can lead to a plugin not being released at all so the community gets upset and starts a "riot" A plugin developer could announce they are working on something, may run into issues with having enough time to develop which in turn may lead into people getting way to impatient and start bugging the community or even the developer on a release date (I've seen this first hand blown up on several forums that I am a moderator on and to be honest its not pretty and more often then not its a headache) Just my two cents..but I see several flaws with having this ready to a community unless BT had a full time crew that could promise to the community what is expected to be released via roadmap. Maybe it would be a good idea to have a "plug in developer only forum" for those who wish to develop plug ins to reduce the risk of "duping" a plug in idea or communicate with other experience plugin developers for help..just throwing out some ideas :)

From several posts to several online meetups David has mentioned something like this, but as a few members stated it's not a simple easy idea. Give it time as the market grows and give David time to prioritize his to-do-list for the plugin market - we'll get there! @Rad if a cool new plugin gets released after you already throw your app in the app store, it will just be a great excuse to send in a update! Cheers, David https://buzztouchmods.com

totally agree Waystid- >>>"Maybe it would be a good idea to have a "plug in developer only forum" for those who wish to develop plug ins to reduce the risk of "duping" a plug in idea or communicate with other experience plugin developers for help..just throwing out some ideas :)"<<< It's a great idea and what i'd really like even more is a 'plug-in beta tester' forum so we can see code run in different enviroments and get feedback from end users that you have time to work with VS 'my app is already on the market and this plug-in doesn't work' I've got a bunch of code I just can't test in every scenario.....
