Android sdk update won't install

It says I have to upgrade the android sdk but when I donwload the upgrade and try to install it says directory failed to move on windows it means another application is using that directory. However I can't figure what application that is.

Try checking c-documents and setting-user-android.

I'm a little lost here now..lol if your upgraded or downloading from your sdk then try right click on it and run as a administrator. LA

when I start eclipse it tells me this version of adt requires android sdk tools version 21.0.0 rc9 or above. I attempt to download this from withjin this sdk it downlaods but won't install. and yes I am an administrator on my computer

To install new sdk you have to open eclipse and click Windows---> Android SDK Manager. A window will pop up. From this window select the package you want to download and click install and follow other instructions. The desired sdk will be downloaded in the default directory i.e. C/User/.android.

This is weird. If you have teamviewer can you PM me your id and password, we can have a session on teamviewer so that i can have a look what exactly is happening.
