App Development: Brainstorm!

Hi all, I am making a coffee recipe app called CoffeeBook and had a few questions: 1) First of all, when running the app in the 4 inch iOS simulator, the flip transition seems kind of slow... should I be worried about this or is it just a simulator issue? 2) Apart from the recipes, to make it more device worthy (so Apple will accept), I added a quiz. But what I really want to do is have a Brainstorm section in the app. 2a) Here the user would be able to take notes (plugin) to come up with a recipe of their own or just type some basic coffee tips for themselves. Does the note plugin allow you to write more than one note and have them all saved? Also, does it support iCloud? 2b) I would use iPad storybook to put down some history about coffee 2c) The section would also have the quiz with Game Center integration. I may also add a reward, with some amount of points you have to earn before you get some sort of member access. Any ideas on what the access would be. 3) I would continue to add recipes as time goes on. 4) An iPad version later. Is there a way for BT to make the app good for iPad so it is not just a big mobile app? Of course this would be over an amount of time. Any other ideas greatly accepted. Thanks! Munny1

Come to think of it, I would probably change the name from Brainstorm to Extras or something (since it is more than brainstorm). But extras is boring (do you have any other good names)? By the way, can you share notes (plugin) with email? Also I would probably have the tweet and timer plugin. MAINLY, what I am asking is: 1) Do these ideas sound good, should I change something? 2) Do you have anything to add to the organization?

A good man once said the following four 'D's' 1. Design 2. Develop 3. Distribute 4. Dedicate I think! Long day. Draw your app out on paper, decide what screens lead to what and what they'll do. Really helps to write things down, sketch out a design! The more native features of phone you have the better. Sounds like yiu have a decent list going but also sounds like you have no iPhone, am I right? If so get one of us to test on device, simulatir is solid but yiu never know and there are some subtle differences. Good luck with it!

Thanks MacApple! As to no iPhone... well *cough* Kidding! I have tons of devices. iPad, iPod, iPhone, Mac (obviously)! I just don't have a developer account yet, I figure that it is better to buy one when the app is done (so I don't waste 6 months of my account). Thanks!

I am going to call the extras section: "Think!"
