@Stobe, that's the funny thing, we both work in our little one room office, so whatever music, podcast, etc. I listen too - she has to listen too - and vice versa! But she enjoys your Podcast as well :-) Loved it. Very much looking forward to it, David. Don't forget episode 12 ( think). It has some great tips on finding a good deal on Macs. @nad: I couldn't believe it. But when I was finally able to boot into disk manager (had to use a handy Mtn Lion installation that I have on a CF card, along with a firewire800 CF reader) I was very happy to see the cause of all the kernel panic-ing. Quickly formatted it back to journeled, and all was well.

Nice score on the machine. ha ha. might have to check out Craigslist instead of ebay
