Retina Display and Glossy Icon

I'd be really glad if you can help me with two things: 1) When I add a 72x72 icon to buzztouch, does it work on retina and non-retina devices without me having to do anything? The reason I ask is that when I load the images in Xcode, the 144 px app icon is very less quality than my 144 px rendering. Maybe it is supposed to be like that? Help appreciated! 2) buzztouch automatically adds the gloss effect to my app. How do I take this off? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

1. Normally after adding the image to buzztouch.com the image is rendered based on that image that you chose after setting up the app in the control panel. What I usually do is replace those images that were automatically generated by BT with the higher quality image that you already made. Then save over top of those images in the BT_Art folder. I generate those images based off a larger image by using the icon generator. The Icon Generator is available for both IOS and Android apps. It saves each size based on the 512 original image that you upload and generates all of the basic sizes that ios and android require. here is a link here: http://vimeo.com/24885192 2. No, that is done in xcode and to remove it check out the solution at stackoverflow: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1003177/how-to-disable-highlighting-of-the-app-icon

Thanks! So for #1, I have to replace the BT image. I tried doing this by renaming my image to Icon_114, but for some reason, there is: Icon_57 Icon_72 Icon_114 Icon_144 All of these are bad quality except the 72 that I put in the BT control panel. When I try to replace them in Xcode, the deployment info says that there is no retina image specified. - This occurs when I delete Icon_114 and replace it with my Icon_114. I rename the file name to Icon_114. Any ideas? Thanks!
