Ok, I have built quite a few apps before. I switched to selfhosted. My app is not updating. I have no errors, compiled a signed apk, and it installs fine. When I make changes to the control panel they do not show on the app. The server says that it has data requests. The data and cloud url's are default. I checked previous forum threads but nothing helped so far. Is this a server setting or am I missing something else. Thoughts?, thanks. Shane

Anything else after that? That's simply saying there is a URL for remote updates, and that a more recent version of the config file does not exist in cache. Doesn't quite explain why it's not being updated.

That all looks good. The app should be updating, and saving the config file into cache. Not sure why it's not working! I'll see if I can download one from my self hosted and repro the problem.

Where are the time stamps in the code that ties to the last update?

If you force an update, it should show in LogCat that it goes out to the dataURL and fetches the data, then writes it to cache. In the samples you gave above, that is not happening, so I can't point it out. Mark

How do I force an update?

If you are on the home screen of the app, hit your phone's Menu button, then choose the update option. Mark

The only thing that pops up when I push menu is: No options. Ok-close

Basically there was a typo in the code...a ( where a " should have been!
