My SimplyApp done in 90 minutes, approved and in app store within week !!

WOW, Awesome to officially join the “Buzztouch Appreneurs” group !! I stumbled across Buzztouch at the end of September and have been learning ever since. The more I learnt the more I wanted to learn which meant the apps I had in mind were always changing and getting better and better as new plugins became available. Eventually I thought to myself just get a Simple App done, publish it to the app store to learn from that process and have something to show for the hours I am spending on the forum, webinars etc etc. Friends of mine have just recently launched a small bookkeeping business and I thought hey “there is an app for that” I just wanted to create a mix of their website and a business card, to show their services and enable people to get in contact with them and also have some content in the form of PDF’s for the user about the local tax rules, budget speeches etc. I used very simple menu screens, coupled with a map, contact card, contact us screens, PDF and word. Once I sat down after looking at the information available on their website it took me less than 90 minutes from start to finish to complete the app, thanks to awesome platform that is BUZZTOUCH. I then got my good friends at fiverr.com to make the icon for $5 which was ready two days later. I submitted it to the app store and was approved within a week !!! Forgot to mention I have ZERO coding experience. So basically if I can do it, so can you. It is awesome to get the mail from iTunes Connect !! My advice is cut your teeth on a simple app and go on from there. A “SimplyApp” in the app store is better that 5 “SuperApps” in progress on your control panel  Many thanks to the everyone one of you that so generously answer questions from newbies like me especially David for his vision and passion & @Stobe for the Buzzcasts and @ICTGuy for some local help. Almost forgot here is my app, have a look, although it is not much use to people outside of South Africa where these tax laws apply. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/paper-trails/id571640874?ls=1&mt=8 Now back to work on my next couple of apps. See you in the forum !! Kristen (BT- Appreneur)

Absolutely too cool. I love your story. It is wonderful to see how far you were able too go in such a short time. I guess it's time to move on to the "SuperApps" Great job.

Superb story mate, nice one. One of my favourite parts of being part of this magic are stories like your own. Congratulations, feels good eh? Will have a peek at your app in the AM. Happy days indeed.

That's an amazing story, and a very nice looking app! I think it really shows the solid platform that David has built, and how quickly something of high quality can be put together. Well done! Mark

congrats! >>> My advice is cut your teeth on a simple app and go on from there. agreed 100% - I think starting too complex is why BT looses a lot of folks. all the framework and set-up is done by BT, you're already ahead of 90% of folks that are starting from scrath if you use BT.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Absolutely, this shows that anyone with the help of the BT platform can make usefull apps !! Just a quick question, I see that I published under "Kristen Britz" I would prefer it to be under the company name "SimplyApps", where did I go wrong there? Is it a quick fix for future apps? Thanks again
