First app approved first time - thanks to all for help

Hi there, Despite feeling I still barely know what I am doing (!) I am delighted my first app has been accepted by Apple and is now live. I would like to thank Buzztouch and all those on these forums who have so generously helped me at many stages through my learning curve - I really could not have done this without you. The app is for a school I help in a deprived area of the UK and is fairly basic at this stage but is designed for ease of use and to build engagement with parents and get them more involved with the school. It is also designed to get them to feel more positive about the area they live - hence the use of the quiz. Here's the link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/bournville/id576166000?ls=1&mt=8 Any feedback through this forum would be much appreciated as I work a lot in education and would like to develop more apps for schools. Any positive reviews left on iTunes would also be much received! Thanks again, Tony

Hi Tony, Great to see your first app. (Mine is yet to come.) You've done a great job. I just tapped Phone Us from the menu screen and it brings back a ~ Error ~ OK... response.

Ooops... just tapped the refresh icon (top left) and now it works. Maybe its an error on first load only?

Thanks for the comments. Krumike - there are two weird things happening... - Originally I had a menu item that linked to the school's website but then removed this in BT - I had to play around with the formatting of the UK phone number to get it to work when I first tested on my own iPhone (before submitting to iTunes) However.... (as you noticed with the phone number), on first download these both appear despite being removed well before the final build was made for iTunes. However, on a refresh, both disappear and the app works as it is supposed to. Does anyone have any idea why it is 'remembering' earlier versions when first downloaded but removing them on a refresh?

Yes. I saw the link to the website... because it pushed the About This App item off the bottom of the screen.

@fratony - you could get the latest config file from your bt dashboard and replace the existing config file in your project. It'll be remembering earlier versions because you've made changes since originally downloading the project. ..probably.. Bad news, I think, is that you'll need to release an update to app store. Not sure how it works, don't use apple.

Thanks raveyd - it is a bit odd that it is doing this. Is this normal or have I got the procedure wrong somewhere? I would not expect it to show previously deleted pages. Even more odd is that it shows them only on download and removes them on the refresh.
