Converting Webinars to 'podcasts'...

The webinars etc are a really wonderful idea! Joining them is great if the times work out, and catching them later on YouTube is good if they don't. Personally though, I can find a lot more time to listen to content than watch it. At this time of year in particular I am using power tools for much of the day and catching up on podcasts beneath the ear defenders is a great way to learn and absorb Buzztouch top tips. Having listened to the brilliant Buzzcast podcasts over and over I've been looking for new inspiration. The webinars are perfect material, but the YouTube format- streaming video- is not ideal for me. I used and could recommend http://www.listentoyoutube.com Just type in the Webinar's YouTube URL and let their system do the conversion. You are left a nice clean MP3 to download and slip into iTunes. I know that through not seeing them on screen I miss out on some things, but you would be surprised how well they work as podcasts...

Great idea! We've been working with @Annandale Apps to help him freshin' up the buzztouch Learning app he whipped up. It's in the App Store but has lots of room for improvement. It's not much more than some mini-web pages at this point. Naturally we and everyone else hope to see his idea turn into something more fun, useful, native. Adding .mp3 version of the webinars to that app makes perfect sense. I'll pass along your idea :-)
