Hi all, I have few ios apps with V1.5 and 2.0 and I am wondering if publishing them to the android market is easy and if there is any tutorial about that? thanks

You'll get it no problem from what I've seen you produce so far buddy. There are several tutorials and guides - by @GoNorthWest and others - showing how I setup Eclipse, compile and test and sign an submit on Android. LOADS of Android users on here to help if you run into any issues. Good luck.

Switching to android, well thats great news and it shouldnt be difficult. Its been 2 months now i have my new macbook pro but i am still learning xcode... It took me only a week to get in tune with the eclipse. There are many great and easy tutorials, guides for android both by Mark and Fred. Have a look at those for getting a startup. And in case you get stuck at some point the forum is open for you to post your concerns. All the best with android.

This is some new information to me too. Well you can try to register with Google if have some one in any of the neighboring country asking them to do it for you. Google is not so strict like Apple in case of registration. Moreover they also accept debit card as opposed to Apple's policy of using only credit card. But i think they do not support developers from Dubai to sell paid apps. Registration with Amazon is free for the first year. I dont know till when they have this offer extended but you can check it on their developers website. Though registration is free for the first year, they will charge $100 per year from second year onward. Amazon app market is not intended for asian countries so i would suggest not to go for this option, though you can try for the first year. One of the best alternative market for apps is the Samsung app market. The samsung rules android device market so this is really a nice option for you. Registering for developer account is free of charge and you can sell paid apps.
