remove Plugin

If I remove a plugin from my SH setup, will any app I have created using the deleted app still work?

Hi @AussieRyan, You actually can't remove a plugin that's currently being used in an app that exists on your self hosted control panel. If you try to, it will say that the plugin is being used by an app, and that you can't remove it. And that's a good thing because once you remove the plugin, it removes the ability to create the JSON for that screen, and an update would get pushed out to the app with the plugin's JSON removed, thus causing issues. So, short answer is, you can't! Mark

Hey, that seems right. But why would one want to remove a plugin? Miguel

Hi @MadRod, to answer your question "why would one want to remove a plugin?" I can give you a scenario. I have one two 3rd party plugin's from buzztouchmods.com on my control panel that are OK for IOS, but have a negative impact every time I build an android project. I have to go in and delete all references to them in my Eclipse project before they will run. Its a nuisance! Alan
