App approved by Apple after previous rejection

My latest app was just approved by Apple. It had been rejected a few weeks ago, but due to being away in Ireland and having family here on holiday I didn't get a chance to do anything with it. So I deleted it from my iTunesconnect account then just re-submitted the app with no changes (except for a small change in the name). Sometimes the review process is baffling!! The app was built on Self Hosted with the addition of the following plugins from the Plugin Market: Timer Notes Rate this app https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/seasons-recipes/id573194154?ls=1&mt=8 Thanks to the plugin developers for helping us all make better apps!! Hi Geraldine, Looks very nice! I might suggest a couple additional screen shots to illustrate what recipes look like in the app...gives people a good feeling about the app before they spend their money! Not sure how long ago you put the app in the store, but please check the BT_fileManager.m file and make sure that NSDocumentsDirectory is the location where items are saved, as opposed to NSCachesDirectory. You can just do a search and make sure there are 7 instances of NSDocumentsDirectory in the file. If it's not there, you'll wand to update the app, because if a person does an update of the apps config, they'll loose their notes! Let me know if that doesn't make sense and you need more assistance. Thanks! Mark

Hi Mark, Yes, I understand what you mean. Will check it out and see if I need to update it. And thanks for your suggestion about the screenshots as well - I'll add some more. Geraldine

Hi Geraldine, Congrats on the approval! The Approval process can be so frustrating. Its great that these plugins are available and give the option of more native functions which seem to be the difference between getting approved and rejected. Good luck with your project!

Ah... What a wonderful time for a rant... Here we go: Oh apple apple apple. This is why you and I have such a love hate relationship. I love your products to death. With their clean finish and exceptional quality and software, they are invaluable (at least for me). But I absolutely hate how uptight you are about who gets to modify anything on any of your OS's. Thus producing this huge and highly unnecessary "quality control" on the app store. Many good apps are rejected, and like here. It's because of an uptight reviewer, when in reality, there's nothing wrong or "cheap" about the product. Well that was a nice rant, thanks for posting and giving me the opportunity to rant @webwizz! I'll defiantly check your app out!
