buzztouch + Applits team up

Hi gang, You'll be seeing some images and text on the buzztouch site in the coming days / weeks about an exciting partnership we've formed with Applits.com They have already placed some images / text here: http://applits.com/applits-buzztouch.php We are huge Applits fans and appreciate their simple approach. Have an app idea but can't create it, or don't want to? Submit it to Applits. If you win their community driven contest (best idea) you could win some $ and get your app created without hiring a developer. We love this idea. Our partnership revolves around the fact that lots of our site visitors are not capable, interested, skilled, or dedicated enough to make their idea come to life. This is OK. But, for many of these visitors it may make sense to submit their idea to Applits to see if it's a viable app concept (in their communities opinion). The materials / text / imagery you see on the buzztouch.com site (related to this partnership) will be appropriately placed and are not paid advertisements. Expect a simple graphic and a message in the How To's. They are extending this favor to us and happily explaining to their audience that you may be able to pull off your idea on your own - using buzztouch. Lastly: We are planning to showcase the flexibility and efficiencies of the our approach to developing apps by using buzztouch to create the winning app ideas. Yup, winner gets an app made, we show our gang (the buzztouch community, you guys) "how we did it" with buzztouch tools and approaches. Probably a series of videos for each winning / created app. Stoked about this.

Applits is pretty cool. I have a ton of ideas that I know I'll never get around to, but would still make good, profitable apps. Seems like a nice way to at least earn a bit of money off those ideas (assuming they win!). Mark

Very cool. Love to see some partnerships forming. This is how BT will get promoted. I've got a few folks I'll point over there. Very cool, hope to see some luck BT user build somethign amazing. Think big. That said, I'm an idea horder and have learned the hard way about sharing and seeing other take my ideas and do stuff. This is why I like BT as it gives me the ability to build a mock-up of an idea I can flesh out over time. and for sure would love to see some BT partnerships with Socialize, Scringo and other good extensions/SDK's to use in apps.

Hey all, Keith of Applits here! It's great to hear all the positive feedback here on the BT forums. In a few hours, we'll be releasing a similar partnership announcement on the Applits blog, so be looking out for that. We're very excited to help showcase the flexibility of buzztouch with this partnership, as well as to release apps to our community of app enthusiasts who voted (and expressed interest) in the apps that they wanted to see developed. It's definitely a mutually beneficial partnership that we see going the distance. Thanks, and best of luck with your own app projects!
